Your Private Road Into Provence. Lavender, Villages, and Wine — No Group, No Rush.

The Provence Interior, at Its Own Pace

Inland Provence is a different world — quieter, slower, and in many ways the France travelers come here specifically to find. Stone villages perched above valleys, lavender stretching to the horizon, wine estates where Châteauneuf-du-Pape has been produced since the 14th century. The three tours in this theme cover the Luberon’s ochre villages, the lavender plateau at Valensole, and the wine country around Avignon. All of them take a full day. None of them require a coastline.

Each departs from Marseille or Aix-en-Provence in a private vehicle with an English-speaking guide — your pace, not a group schedule.

Provence Villages Day Trip

The Luberon’s most celebrated villages in a single day — Gordes, one of the most photographed villages in France, with its hilltop castle and sweeping valley views; Roussillon, built from and surrounded by ochre cliffs in shades of red, orange, and gold; and Lourmarin, a market village in the southern Luberon with a lunch stop long enough to actually sit down and enjoy it.

Avignon & Châteauneuf-du-Pape Wine Tour

Avignon’s walled city and the Palais des Papes — the seat of the Catholic papacy for nearly 70 years in the 14th century — followed by an afternoon in the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where the same papal history gave the appellation its name. The wine portion includes a private visit to Château La Nerthe, one of the appellation’s founding estates, for a guided cellar tour and seated tasting.

Lavender Fields France

Lavender Fields Tour

An immersive day across the Valensole Plateau’s endless lavender rows, a stop at the family-run Lavandes Angelvin farm and distillery, and a stroll through the cliffside village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie — timed for the golden morning light.
